These are focused 1 hour sessions that are student-led and intended to close knowledge gaps or work on weaknesses

My 1-to-1 tuition could be for your child if they:
Know exactly what they need help with and would like to direct the sessions
Have particular topic areas of weakness that they need to focus on
Are working towards a short-term personal goal such as a re-sit and need something intensive
If one or more of these resonate with you, then book a free trial session by picking an available slot from my calendar below. If there are no slots available, I am fully booked. You may want to consider my focused small group classes.
You will be asked to enter your payment details, but a 100% discount will be applied for the first session, so you will not be charged.
Once you have booked the free session, the session is confirmed and both the student and billpayer will receive an email containing a link to access your student/parent portal where you can manage your booking. I look forward to having you in the session!

Absolutely. All sessions are conducted in a secure online whiteboard and can only be accessed by visiting the link in your online account. All sessions are recorded with safeguarding policies in place to protect students. View the privacy policy for more details.

Yes, I offer a free no-obligation trial class to new students which gives them an opportunity to explore the online classroom and figure out if my tutoring style is for them.

Each lesson typically begins with a short teaching or revision segment, followed by guided practice using exam-style questions. Occasionally, I’ll leave a brief assignment on the board for you to complete in your own time, reinforcing what we’ve covered. At the start of the next session, we’ll have a quick recap to consolidate your understanding.

You may book a trial session by selecting an available slot that matches your availability from my calendar on this page. If you are an existing student, you can book sessions directly from your calendar in your online account.

Individual (one-to-one) sessions are subject to availability. Each session lasts for an hour and also takes place in the online classroom. Sessions are billed on a weekly basis and cost £60 per session.

Yes — I offer small group classes of 6 - 9 students per class, with each class sub-divided into micro-groups so I can make contact with each student and have more focused time with each. Learn more about groups.

Yes. When you first register for a student/parent account, you will be asked for your payment details. These are securely handled by Stripe and your card details are not revealed to me. Auto-pay allows your payments to be collected automatically whenever you have a scheduled session and minimises disruptions.

Yes — in short, try to cancel with as much notice as possible to avoid being charged. Cancellations made before the payment is processed will not be charged. This is usually the Sunday preceding your booked session.
One-to-one lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice are chargeable at the full rate

One-to-one: Make-up credits are offered in place of a refund in the event of a cancellation (if the session had already been charged, but was more than the 24 hour notice period). If the student wishes to terminate their sessions indefinitely, a refund will be offered minus any processing fees incurred.

Yes — regular feedback is shared with parents and students to track improvement and can be accessed at any time in the dedicated member portal.

Definitely — I focus on both subject mastery and exam strategy, including past paper practice and mark scheme analysis. I also offer practical tips on time management and revision strategies.
