I specialise exclusively in OCR A A-Level Chemistry. Both my 1:1 tuition and A-Level Chemistry Programme are designed specifically for students studying the OCR A specification.
I do not currently offer tuition for other exam boards such as AQA, Edexcel or OCR B (Salters) Chemistry.

Yes.
New students begin with a £25 paid diagnostic assessment session. This allows me to assess their current understanding, identify priority areas and determine how best to support them. They will also have the opportunity to experience the online classroom and decide if my tutoring style is suited to them. The £25 is credited towards further tuition if they decide to continue.
For the A-Level Chemistry Programme: Suitable students can attend a free trial session after completing the programme diagnostic and meeting the entry criteria.
Step 1: apply
Step 2: complete diagnostic
Step 3: attend trial class

My tuition is focused on developing strong Chemistry understanding alongside the exam skills needed to turn that knowledge into marks.
Students can expect targeted teaching, plenty of exam-question practice, detailed feedback and regular identification of gaps in their knowledge and technique. Each student receives personalised feedback with action points for the week.
I place particular emphasis on understanding why an answer earns marks, rather than encouraging my students to simply memorise mark schemes.
The aim is for students to become more confident, accurate and increasingly independent in their Chemistry.
