Each week, we focus on understanding the foundations of the topic for the day, and in the second session, apply techniques learned to typical exam questions.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Classes are billed on a monthly basis with a minimum one month commitment on sign-up and cost £120 a month.

  • Yes, I offer a free no-obligation trial class to new students which gives them an opportunity to explore the online classroom and figure out if my tutoring style is for them.

  • Masterclasses are seasonal crash courses offered throughout the year (especially as exams approach!) and are designed to be intensive revision sessions. These are not included in the small group tuition fee and should be purchased separately when available.

  • Each lesson typically begins with a short teaching or revision segment, followed by guided practice using exam-style questions These are done in micro-groups (Sub-groups of 3-4 students within the class). Occasionally, I’ll leave a brief assignment on the board for students to complete in their own time, reinforcing what we’ve covered. At the start of the next session, we’ll have a quick recap to consolidate understanding before moving onto the topic of the day.

  • You may book a trial session by picking a class slot that matches your availability using the calendar on this page. If you are an existing student, you will already be subscribed to group classes and can access them from your online account.

  • Yes — regular feedback is shared with parents and students to track improvement and can be accessed at any time in the dedicated online account.

  • Yes, individual (one-to-one) sessions are subject to availability. Each session lasts for an hour and takes place in the online classroom. Sessions are billed on a weekly basis and cost £60 per session.

  • Yes. When you first register for a student/parent account, you will be asked for your payment details. These are securely handled by Stripe and your card details are not revealed to me. Auto-pay allows your payments to be collected automatically when you have a scheduled session and minimises disruptions.

  • Yes — in short, try to cancel your subscription with as much notice as possible to avoid being charged. Cancellations made before the payment is processed will not be charged. Cancellations made mid-month will not be refunded.

    Individual group sessions may only be cancelled by the tutor.

  • In the event of a cancellation by the tutor, a refund will be issued for the remainder of sessions billable for that month.

    If the student wishes to terminate their sessions indefinitely, a refund will be offered pro-rata minus any processing fees incurred.

  • Absolutely. All sessions are conducted in a secure online whiteboard and can only be accessed by visiting the link in your online account. All sessions are recorded with safeguarding policies in place to protect students. View the privacy policy for more details.

  • Definitely — I focus on both subject mastery and exam strategy, including past paper practice and mark scheme analysis. I also offer practical tips on time management and revision strategies.
